At Home

My husband had church business to attend to today, so the day was spent quietly at home. We usually head to my son’s floorball game or go to the Garden Cottage, but it’s a rare Saturday where I don’t need to go anywhere.

My plan for the day was to knit — I have a cardigan I need to finish — and to listen to an audiobook as I knit. I also wanted to do my nails, clean, and do some gardening. I did all of the above and even managed to get a nap in while going at a leisurely pace.

It was a very good, productive, and restful day for me. I also loved that the sun was shining, which added to my happiness.
