Restful and Healing

I woke up last night with ovulation pain. I was hoping it wasn’t so, but it is. Many women have painful cramps during their time of the month, but I have painful ovulation. The pain can last anywhere from a day to three days. The only thing that helps is sitting with a hot pack. The more I move, the more painful it is. For me, this has meant no church today.

My afternoon was spent with a hot pack, a new audiobook, and crochet after finishing my cardigan. Who knew that that’s all that was needed to help me heal? Usually I go about my day, but then the pain persists for days. It’s gone now, and I am thankful.

I have an evening of crocheting, reading, listening to my audiobook, and watching a movie with my husband ahead of me. Augustin will be making Swedish meatballs for dinner today, and I am looking forward to the delicious meal.

A perfect Sunday.
