Finding Meaning Beyond Instagram: A Shift in Creative Seasons

Instagram’s Shift: Finding New Ways to Share Creativity

Instagram has changed. It’s lost much of the community and connection it once offered. Many creatives have been sensing it for a while, but now the decline feels unmistakable. With that shift, I’ve found myself searching for new platforms to share my work—spaces that feel authentic and nourishing.

I haven’t yet brought this journey fully to God in prayer, but I know that’s the next step. Right now, I’m testing out a few alternative apps and trying to find what fits.

In the meantime, this blog will become the new home for my creative updates—much like Instagram used to be for me. Especially since I’m investing in this space, I want to give it a full-hearted try and invite God into this transition.

A Tiny Sign: The First Four-Leaf Clover of the Year

This morning, as my husband and I walked Tín to the tram stop, I spotted my first four-leaf clover of the season. Every year, finding that first one feels like a small but powerful reminder: God sees me. He hears me. He knows exactly where I am.

It wasn’t a day spent chasing beauty outdoors or capturing countryside moments—it was a day grounded in something else.

Behind the Scenes: Catching Up on My Personal Project

Lately, I’ve fallen behind on my personal video series, A Year to Inspire. I’m about three weeks off schedule, and today was all about catching up. I managed to edit and upload one video, and I’ve started on another that I hope to finish this evening while my husband works late.

I’m at the part of the project where the excitement fades and repetition kicks in. I’ve started asking myself, “Why am I doing this?” Everything feels a little mundane. But I’m learning something essential:

Life is repetitive.

And if I’m not present in the ordinary rhythms, I’ll miss out on the beauty tucked inside them. Because when we look back, it’s never really the big moments that matter most—it’s the small, everyday ones that shape us.

A New Season, Rooted in Presence and Faith

This blog might look different from what I’ve done before, but I want it to hold space for my creative journey—raw, real, repetitive, and inspired. I’m choosing to walk forward slowly, with God, into this next chapter.

If you’re feeling the shift too—tired of algorithms, chasing engagement, or watching your once-vibrant space go quiet—know you’re not alone. Maybe it’s time we reclaim creativity for ourselves, in quiet places, with purpose and peace.
