Painting

What a busy day it has been here! The morning was wonderful and relaxing as I got deep into studying my Isaiah book, but then it was off to the store, breakfast, watering the roses, and the biggest project of the day — painting.

Augustin and I painted one coat, and then we will do the rest on Sunday. I am going for a cottage vibe, but I don’t want it to feel too cottage-y.

There’s a problem with the paint though. I picked a beige sandy colour, but as we painted it, it turned out to have a very pink hue instead. Now I have a pink hallway and not the beige hallway I had hoped for. Luckily, it doesn’t look bad, but it is definitely not what I had in mind.
