My Paper Republic Journal

Today I am talking about my new journal setup. Before I switched to the Paper Republic Grand Voyager leather journal, I had an A5 binder, which I absolutely loved. But lately, with all of my interests, hobbies, family, work, and friends, I just don’t have the energy or the capacity to work in my binder journal because that took time and it needed to be decorated, at least that’s how I wanted it to look. At one point, it was too much.

I went back to a very old journal that I had from 2021, my Moleskine. As I started to use this bullet journal planner, it was getting pretty beat up and worn because I would always carry it with me in my bags and in my backpack. But I wanted to finish up this particular journal instead of getting a brand new one. My solution was buying the Paper Republic Grand Voyager Leather Journal.

Now, this leather journal doesn’t only protect my current journal, but it also gives me the ability to keep other journals altogether. I now have a place to add my Slovak notes from Slovak class, a place to add my to-do list, a place to add my drawings, and I’ve even added a book into the mix right now.

This setup works the best for me, and I’ve been really enjoying it. There is no particular pressure to finish a day or to decorate anything. I can just write my thoughts, write my to-do list, and have a place for everything.

The only thing that’s missing is a monthly calendar, which I’m in the process of figuring out.
