About Yesterday

I photographed my second wedding yesterday. It was for Petronela’s sister, and it was an honour to photograph my close friend’s sister’s wedding, as her family is also close to my heart, as she is.

It was a long day, as Slovak weddings go until midnight and past. I started at 11am and finished at midnight. After safely downloading the images, I went to sleep at 2:30am, only to dream a prophetic dream and wake up at 8:30am with only 5 hours of sleep.

Am I exhausted? Very much so. But no, also not. I truly enjoy photographing weddings for friends and family.

Today, I am happy with my work and how I captured their special day. We’ll see how I feel about it all tomorrow. I now have two weddings to edit, and my personal mission is to get it all done by the end of September.

Now I am at Kysak train station, waiting for my train to Bratislava.
