A Day in the Life

Our last morning as we pack up and leave. I am loving this coffee cup at our Airbnb, as I used to own one before it broke. It’s such a joy to drink from.

On our way to a very popular castle. It was yet another beautiful autumn drive along winding roads surrounded by fall foliage.

We got to explore the prettiest castle, one that’s been on my list for a while. It was perfection on so many levels. We all split up into groups. My mom and I went to the greenhouse, where it was both gorgeous and warm.

This particular part of our trip has healed a small piece inside me that broke during my trip to America. I am very thankful for that. I am also happy that my mom got to see some beauty, because beauty heals. God created beauty that way.

We have arrived home. I am half glad to be back home and half sad to give up the exploring and beauty around us. On our drive home, we saw a gorgeous rainbow. It wasn’t very tall, but it was incredibly saturated and beautiful.

Now my mom and I will spend our evening starting our new project together, the Sophie Hood. I love that we always have a shared project going when she’s in town.
