Rainy Cottage Day
Yesterday’s Garden Cottage day was a mood, a very beautiful one that kept my camera busy. With the mood came the cold, but it was worth it, and it was worth getting soaked through for all the beautiful moments my camera captured.
I only brought a raincoat and didn’t realize it would rain the whole time we were there. I wish I had brought an umbrella, but it has never rained so hard and so long while we were at the Garden Cottage. The area where the Garden Cottage is located, Nové Zámky, has very different weather than Bratislava. When it’s raining in Bratislava, it is sunny at the Garden Cottage.
This was also our first good rainfall of the year, and it was very much needed. We were able to siphon off the water into bigger barrels so that when there is no rain, I can still water my roses with rainwater.
