Family Filled Saturday
This Saturday we had made plans to go to the Garden Cottage, but at the last minute I decided family was more important, and we accepted the invitation of Luboš’ family to spend the day together. It took us about a week to decide what we wanted to do, but in the end we chose to visit a popular fishery where you can eat delicious grilled and smoked fish. While you waited, you could catch your own fish in their ponds.
Augustín did catch one, but we enjoy more challenging fishing ponds than the one that was there. The weather today was wonderful. It was the warmest day yet and carried a promise of summer in the air. After a cold week, it was so refreshing to be surrounded by warm sunshine instead of bitter cold wind.
After our fishy lunch, we ventured off to a ruined castle. I enjoyed photographing my nieces there. After 5 p.m., we went our separate ways, and the three of us stopped by Piešťany for some ice cream at our beloved ice cream shop. Milo even got his own ice cream — ham and carrot — which he licked up with complete joy.
