All the Right Reasons

Yesterday, I spent a wonderful day with two friends from church sewing a dress that I had planned to sew all summer. Our sewing marathon started at 9 a.m., and we finished after 10:30 p.m. We had a lot of fun, but honestly, it was intense, and there was so much work.

I’m still not finished with the dress. Technically, I have to hem it today so that I can wear it to work tomorrow for the first day of school.

I didn’t get to bed until midnight, and I woke up fairly early today, which leaves me absolutely exhausted. I was supposed to edit the last wedding that I photographed, but that’s not happening. I am depleted.

I am depleted for all the right reasons, but that means I need to be wise with my time today.
